Power AND FUNCTIONS

The Library committee will function as an advisory body and also act as a liaison between the library and other members of the teaching staff.

It exists

To assist in establishing broad general policies for the library.
To look after the proper management and use of the library including services to be rendered to the readers.
To look after the proper furnishing of the library.
To review the functioning of the library on a half-yearly basis.
To consider any matter referred to it by the Academic Council, Bar Council of India, and the staff members of the college.
To add, amend or delete any rules prescribed for the use of the library services.
To hold a meeting every month on a regular basis.
To review and advise the librarian on policies related to collection development, collection evaluation, and bibliographic activities.
