Power AND FUNCTIONS

The Library committee will function as an advisory body and also act as a liaison between the library and other members of the teaching staff.

It exists

  • To assist in establishing broad general policies for the library.
  • To look after the proper management and use of the library including services to be rendered to the readers.
  • To look after the proper furnishing of the library.
  • To review the functioning of the library on a half-yearly basis.
  • To consider any matter referred to it by the Academic Council, Bar Council of India, and the staff members of the college.
  • To add, amend or delete any rules prescribed for the use of the library services.
  • To hold a meeting every month on a regular basis.
  • To review and advise the librarian on policies related to collection development, collection evaluation, and bibliographic activities.
