In order to encourage merit and to ensure that economic depravity and social disabilities do not prevent eligible persons from pursuing quality legal education, the College has various scholarship schemes.

Financial Assistance to ST Students

Government Of India Merit-cum-mean Scholarship To Minority Students

Every year the Govt. of Goa Directorate of Social welfare invites applications with requisite document to be submitted through the College by eligible students for award of such scholarships. The Directorate of Social Welfare, Govt. of Goa depending upon the sanction and the availability of funds, awards scholarships to such of the eligible students every year. The details of the scholarship and the time limit within which the applications have been submitted are notified on the college notice board as and when such notifications are received.

National Merit Scholarship

The Govt. of India every year allocates a specified number of scholarships to students of Goa studying in various professional institutions. The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to meritorious students studying a post matric to post graduate level. The rates of the scholarship are notified from time to time. The eligibility criteria are also notified by the Govt. of India. Every year, applications of eligible candidates have to be submitted through the college based on the notification issued by the Directorate of Education, Govt. of Goa.

Student Aid Fund Scholarship

As per the directives of the Directorate of Education, Govt of Goa, the College has set up a “Students Aid fund”, constituted by contribution from students as approved by Goa University. The College invites applications from eligible students who are required to submit their applications along with their previous examination marks card and the income certificate issued by the prescribed authority. The Advisory Committee constituted for the purpose considers the various applications and scholarships awarded to eligible students every year as per the criteria laid down by the Govt. of Goa.

Rajiv Gandhi Sikshan Sahay Yojna Scholarship For Ebc Students
The Govt. of India through the Directorate of Education, Govt. of Goa awards scholarship for EBC students every year. This scholarship every year is notified by the Joint Director of Accounts inviting 20 applications from the College based on the criteria enumerated therein for grant of EBC scholarship to eligible students at the rate of Rs. 50 per month. The applications are to be submitted through the College by the eligible and desiring students as per the notification issued from time to time by the Directorate of Education, Govt. of Goa.
Educational Concessions To Children Of Freedom Fighters And Service Personnel

The Govt. of Goa through its Directorate of Education and Sarva Shikshana Abhiyan offers various facilities like scholarships, books, uniform, raincoats etc. to children of freedom fighters studying in College. The applications are to be submitted through the College by the eligible and deserving students as per the notification issued from time to time by the Directorate of Education,Govt. of Goa.

Late Adv. Pandurang Porobo Tamba Scholarship
Adv. Venkatesh R. Tamba has instituted an endowment of Rs. 10,000/- with the College for an award of scholarship out of the accrued interest of the above amount a student who secures the highest aggregate marks at the TY LLB examination from among LLB Degree Program students.

Late Adv. Pandurang Porobo Tamba Scholrship 2020

G. A. Kamat Endowment Scholarship
An endowment of Rs. 10,000 is deposited with the College by Mrs. Sumati Gopal Kamat in memory of her late husband Shri Gopal Apa Kamat. The interest accrued thereon annually is awarded as a scholarship for a LLB Degree student who secures the highest marks in the subject of Civil Procedure Code at the University examinations during that academic year.
Cyclathon

A scholarship is instituted for students, below poverty line (BPL) interested in pursuing the Five Year Integrated B.A.LL.B. Programme.

N.R. Madhava Menon Scholarship

An amount of Rs. 25,000 is deposited with the College by Prof. Shri Madhava Menon. The interest accrued thereon annually is awarded as a scholarship for a student who are selected by the Legal Aid Panel (Professors) as “Best Legal Aid Volunteer” during that academic year.

College Merit Scholarship To The Students Of LL.B. ( Deg ), B. A. LLB And LLM Of Our College.

One scholarship of Rs. 5000.00 (Rupees Five Thousand Only) each per annum per class of B.A.LLB, LLB (Deg) and LLM is granted every year to a student standing 1st in the respective class/year (1st year, 2nd year, 3rd year,4th year and 5th year for B.A.LLB, 1st to 3rd year of LLB (Deg) and 1st and 2nd year LLM) irrespective of division.
