Mission

The Women Empowerment Cell (WEC) aims to create an inclusive and healthy environment within the campus of the college, foster gender equality, build leadership, and ensure professional and personal growth for all students by particularly empowering women in the field of law. The Cell is dedicated to supporting students in recognizing and pursuing their full potential while also educating them on essential legal rights and providing opportunities for advocacy, activism, and community engagement. The Cell aims to foster research and discussion on gender-related issues, equipping students with knowledge of socio-legal perspectives and current challenges that women face globally and locally.

Objectives

1. To empower women to achieve their potential and promote a more equitable and just society.
2. To develop confidence in women that they are strong, special and equal to men.
3. To create awareness about women’s rights under the various laws.
4. To foster a safe, inclusive and supportive campus -environment for all, particularly women.
