MOOT COURT SOCIETY

To succeed in legal fraternity theoretical knowledge and practical skills of advocacy, both, go hand in gloves. In order to equip these advocacy skills, college conducts Moot Courts on a regular basis. Every student has to participate in minimum three Moot Courts. College also conducts selection moot for the purpose of constituting moot court society. For the students it provides a window of opportunity to understand, assimilate and compete at the national levels and even at international levels. The Moot Court Society is formulated for the purpose of developing skills of advocacy, rational thinking, articulation and presentation of arguments in students.

Objectives of Moot Court Society

  1. To harness the true potential of each student and help them enhance their advocacy skills in order to attain higher rate of success at National and International level.
  2. To organize skill development sessions in order to maximize the proficiency training imparted to the student.
  3. Training to be conducted to improve and augment the impact and accomplishment of moot court society.
  4. Specific training sessions in the area of Research development skills, Memorial Drafting Skills and Argumentation and Presentation skills.
  5. To encourage and train Students for participation in International/National/State Level Moot Court Competitions.
